Scale figures

Scale figures are collectible figures designed based on a specific scale ratio (scale = proportion). If a figure is made in a 1/1 scale, it means it is the same size as the original character. On the other hand, 1/8 or 1/6 scale would mean that a figure based on a character approximately 150 centimeters tall would be 18.5 cm or 25 cm in height. A 1/10 scale figure, in turn, would be 15 cm. These figures are usually crafted from high-quality materials such as PVC, ABS, or other premium plastics, and they are meticulously painted and intricately detailed.

The prices of genuine scale figures can vary from around 70-400 euros on both ends but can also be worth thousands of euros.

Some well-known manufacturers include: Kotobukiya, Furyu, Union Creative, FREEing, Kadokawa, Myethos, and Prime 1 Studio.
